At 100 years old, he's still going strong and going out of his way to make a difference for his community.
According to BBC, Davies started volunteering at the school after he lost his wife of 72 years. He wanted a renewed sense of purpose and that's exactly what he's found.

In an interview with BBC, Davies explained:
"I'm sure I get more out of it than the children do. It is a lovely, warm feeling [that] I belong. I'm not this old man who lives on his own. I'm part of the community, which is great."

Davies sits with kids as they read and he works on pronunciation and letters with them. The kids love him and even recognize him around town!

Hopefully Davies continues to serve his community in such an impactful way! It's great to see.
