Survey Finds Having A Cat In Your Dating Profile Makes You More Attractive To Potential Matches
There's a stereotype about cat people - that they'll end up alone and grow old with no one but their felines to keep them company.
However, a recent survey found the "crazy cat lady" narrative may be a bit far-fetched. In fact, cats could actually help boost your love life!

The survey was conducted by OnePoll on behalf of the World's Best Cat Litter and it asked a series of questions to cat owners and non-cat owners alike.
According to SWNS Digital, the majority of survey participants said they'd be "more interested" in a dating profile if there was a cat in the picture.

Even survey participants who didn't own cats said that seeing a cat pictured in a dating profile would boost the attractiveness of the potential match.
What's perhaps the most surprising is that four in 10 of the survey respondents said they would even go out with someone just to meet that person's pet.

According to SWNS Digital, Jean Broders, Director of Marketing for World's Best Cat Litter, said: "Even if you're not the type to treat your pets like they're your children, they're still an important part of the family and can wield a lot of influence."
So, there you have it. If you're unsure about advertising your love for cats to potential mates, it may not be a bad idea.
