Wild Raccoon Leads Cops On A 45 Minute Chase Through A Warehouse
You never quite know what's going to happen when you are dealing with a wild animal. Things could go smoothly, but then again, the craziest thing can happen.
The latter was what happened to a group of workers trying to run down a raccoon hiding in a warehouse. It took some time for them to find the raccoon, but things got a little hairy once they did.

According to SWNS, a delivery truck had brought the raccoon from Louisville, and he ended up in Colorado at the Boulder Distribution Center.
Workers saw him running from the pallets and into McGuckin's hardware store.

When they found the raccoon, he was hiding behind some pegboard, and one of the workers tried to move the board while a police officer attempted to snag the raccoon with a pole.
Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out for Boulder Police Animal Protection Supervisor J. Whittle because the raccoon jumped out and ran for it. Suddenly, the entire team was chasing the raccoon through the warehouse.

In the body cam footage, you can see officers running after the raccoon as it does its best to elude them. People are jumping out of the way as the officer yells at them not to touch the raccoon.

In the end, they were able to corral the raccoon into a cage and they celebrated with arms raised in the air.
