Couple Steps Up To Save Abandoned Blind Puppy And Her Sister
Matt and Irene are a couple who found some abandoned animals, and they were hanging out by their fence.
When they went to take a closer look, one of the dogs became frightened and ran away. The other one stayed, and they found out that she was blind and didn't see them approaching.
These dogs just so happened to come to the right place, because Matt and Irene know all about rescuing dogs. According to The Dodo, they took the dog into their house and were concerned because they weren't quite sure how to care for a blind dog.
It wasn't long, however, before they were doing the right thing. They established a special area in the room for her that would even take her outside into the yard so she could run around on occasion.
They named her Lilly, and it began a beautiful friendship that became a family.
Lilly was good at knowing what was around and she was getting confident moving through the house. Matt and Irene noticed it because her tail would wag a little more each and every day.
At first, they were just taking care of Lily but within 10 days, neighbors told them that there was another dog in their barn. That dog, who they named Mira, ran away again when they saw her, so they decided to capture her.
They didn't bring Mira into the home right away, they wanted her to warm up to the idea but it wasn't long before she was getting very comfortable.
The best news was that Mira and Lilly were excited to be together again. They enjoy hanging out in their new foster home and living life as they deserve to live it.
