Owner Teaches Dog How To Properly Pet A Cat
Dogs and cats are notorious enemies, but it's not uncommon to see them living under one roof. After all, many families in the United States own both dogs and cats, and the two animals have no choice but to get along.
Sometimes the friendship between a dog and cat is quick and strong, like the giant newfie that befriended a cat. But other times, the relationships are more forced.

That was seen recently in a video shared on Facebook that features a dog and cat interacting in an unusual way.
In the video, you can see both animals perched on the couch alongside their human. The dog curiously looks on as the human pets the cat. The cat seems to be enjoying the pets from the human. The dog watches and learns, and eventually, he decides to give it a go for himself.

The dog reaches his paw out and tries to "pet" the cat. It takes a bit of practice, but the cat patiently sits and allows the dog to try and pet her. It's really cute!
The human continues petting the cat and shows the dog how to do it too.

In the end, it's unclear how the relationship between the dog and cat is. But if we had to guess, the cat is incredibly tolerant of the dog and they do just fine living together.
