Dog Trainer Teaches Adorable Pet Skunk Advanced Tricks And Commands
A dog trainer in Orlando, Florida has taken on a unique challenge: training a pet skunk!
According to SWNS, 26-year-old Sierra Middleton (@dog_trainer_duo) purchased a skunk, Elfo, back in May of 2022.

As an animal keeper at the Orlando Science Center and a professional dog trainer, Middleton has plenty of knowledge and expertise when it comes to training pets for simple and advanced tasks. A skunk, though? They're not exactly everyone's first choice of pet.
Despite the reputation they have for leaving a stinky trail everywhere they go, skunks can actually make loving and affectionate pets.

According to PBS, "domesticated skunks are unique and sometimes rewarding pets, but they require a lot of specialized care." They're not a pet just anyone should consider owning, but it seems that Sierra is more than cut out for the job.
Not only did she teach Elfo basic commands like "sit" and "stay," but the little fellow knows some service commands as well and can help Sierra do tasks like removing her socks!
