Nestlé Purina PetCare Company produces a lot of pet food, and they've just issued a voluntary recall of specific prescription dog food over potentially dangerous levels of vitamin D.
According to a news release from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, Purina received "two separate confirmed cases of a dog exhibiting signs of vitamin D toxicity after consuming the diet, to date. Once taken off the diet, each of these dogs recovered."
