Kitten Who Wandered in One Cold Winter Day Ends Up the 'Princess' in a House of Dogs

Ilsa was a tiny kitten when she walked into my husband's school, and right into our hearts. It was winter, and she was just looking for a warm place to sleep.
PHOTO: PATRICIA JOHNSONMy husband called me and said, "We have a new cat." I reminded him we had five dogs, and I wasn't sure a cat was a good addition.
However, it was November, and I was not letting him take her to the shelter. She came home and bedded down in my extra large dog kennel.
PHOTO: PATRICIA JOHNSONShe was my first cat and is the perfect princess. Glamorous, chic, elegant, and feisty! She talks, she has the Ilsa strut, and you know she is royalty.
She knows how to fetch better than my dogs (she actually gives up the item fetched). She is loving and beautiful, inside and out. She rules the roost with a velvet paw and makes sure all newcomers of the furry kind know she reigns.
