Hairless Street Dog Is Unrecognizable After Being Adopted
It's no secret that Bali, Indonesia, is full of street dogs. Unfortunately, many of those dogs aren't receiving the basic care that they need, like medical care and food and shelter. While some people and organizations go out of their way to care for the street dogs of Bali, there are many that fall between the cracks.
A poor pup named Romeo found himself among the street dogs in Bali. He was suffering from a skin condition, and all his hair had fallen out. He also had severely overgrown toenails and really needed some help.

Many dogs suffer in silence, but someone with the animal rescue Mission Pawsible noticed Romeo and knew he had to help.
In an interview with The Dodo, Prue with Mission Pawsible recalled how he found the dog sitting on the side of the road "in a really bad state."

Since Romeo's health issues weren't life-threatening, Prue made the decision to take the dog to his personal home, where he could give the pup medicated baths and assess his temperament.
Amazingly, Romeo proved to be "really sweet, kind and gentle." Despite his rough past and time on the streets, the sweet dog maintained a love for life and a gentleness that refused to leave.

After spending some time with Prue, Romeo found a foster home with a couple visiting Bali on vacation. As the dog adjusted to his new life, his hair started to grow back. It wasn't long before he was ready to be adopted!
Tomi saw Romeo's photos through Mission Pawsible, and he knew that was the dog for him. Romeo proved to be the perfect fit for Tomi. Now, the sweet dog is living his best life with a man who loves him. He'll never have to worry about fending for himself again.
