Hikers Find Rare Spinning Ice Disk In Scottish Highlands
A father-son hiking duo stumbled upon a rare sight while hiking in the Scottish Highlands: a spinning ice disk!
According to SWNS, 32-year-old Dan Brown and his father were hiking around the Beinn Bhuidhe mountain, which is located south of Lochan, Shira and north of Achadunan.

Brown and his father approached a glen on the mountain, a narrow valley that often contains water or a stream. However, what they saw was far from usual.
Instead of a typical stream flowing through the glen, the hiking duo stumbled upon an incredible spinning ice disk.

According to SWNS, Brown explained: "I was hiking in Scotland and came across this ice disk. A natural phenomenon caused by the currents, as the ice melts, the colder water sinks, creating a vortex that causes the disk to spin."
They managed to video the rare sight from above the glen so you can see the full spin taking place from a birds-eye view and it's really something neat!

While the spinning ice disk looks massive, it's hard to say how large it really is from the video alone.
