The well-timed births weren't planned out that way, but it adds something to the bond they share and the bond their children now share.

According to Good Morning America, Rebecca Lawrence and Christina Keefer live just 15 minutes apart from each other. They went through pregnancy together, but they didn't expect to give birth on the same day.
The WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital shared about the special birthday on Facebook.
They wrote: "A special birthday at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital! Rebecca and Christina are twins, and now their newborns will share a special bond because they were born on the same day!"

They went on to explain that Rebecca had a scheduled induction at the hospital. While Christina was visiting her in the hospital, she naturally went into labor!
Rebecca gave birth in the morning on May 25, and Christina gave birth later that afternoon.
Good Morning America shared that because of how the timing worked out, the sisters were able to attend each other's deliveries. They also shared recovery rooms next door to one another.

The outlet further reports that Rebecca and Christina were both discharged from the hospital with their newborns within a day of one another. They were able to celebrate their shared birthday at home on May 29.
Rebecca posted a Happy Birthday wish to her sister on Facebook, writing: "I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift. A nephew, a daughter, and a story to go with it! Happy birthday to my sissy Tina Keefer. Glad we get to go on this journey together."
