Oil and gas drilling is a constant threat to the Arctic Refuge— especially in these days of "Drill, baby, drill!" The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service now has an opportunity to take steps to protect parts of the Arctic Refuge forever— by recommending the Coastal Plain and other parts of the Arctic Refuge be designated as Wilderness.
