Children are impressionable beings. That's why it's so important that from a young age, kids are taught tolerance and humanity.

You would think that enrichment organizations like Boy Scouts of America would promote these values. But that's not what they did when they forced a Cub Scout leader to resign as the leader of her son's pack because she's a lesbian.

A spokesman for the Boy Scouts said of the issue, "Scouting...does not believe it is the right forum for children to become aware of the issue of sexual orientation, or engage in discussions about being gay."

Jennifer Tyrrell wasn't trying to make other children "aware of sexual orientation." In fact, by making such a big deal out of Tyrrell's sexuality, the Boy Scouts are only drawing attention to the subject they are condemning in the first place!

**The Boy Scout Oath says to "respect and defend the rights of all people." Tell the Boy Scouts to stop the hypocrisy!**
