Utah political leaders passed an initiative that would allow hunters to begin hunting and shooting feral cats. The Trap-Neuter-Return method (TNR)— a practice in which feral cats are trapped, taken to be fixed, and then re-released back into the wild — has profoundly reduced the number of homeless cats in the state.

Now it's up to the Senate to overturn this unfounded and cruel legislation.
