The recent recall of eggs in the United States has prompted a mass outcry against the improper handling of food and food distribution. Having to recall hundreds of millions of eggs nationwide is simply unacceptable. There is no excuse for selling that many contaminated food products. As consumers, we need to be able to trust that the food we're buying is safe to eat.
