No More Gas Chamber Euthanasia!

A few Michigan animal shelters continue to use the gas chamber as a method of euthanasia. Put a stop to this cruel practice!
Surprisingly, a few animal shelters in the state of Michigan are still using the archaic and inhumane gas chamber method for euthanizing their animals. While this may still be a legal form of euthanasia, it's extremely cruel to the animals and completely unnecessary. Lethal injection is the most widely-accepted form of animal euthanasia today and allows the creature to peacefully slip away rather than be inundated with poisonous gases.
H.B. 6042 and 6043 are two bills in the legislative process right now that, if passed, would prohibit the use of the gas chamber euthanasia method. **Sign the petition urging bill sponsor and Michigan Representative Rick Jones to continue to lobby for this cause and see that it is pushed through to law. Michigan's animals need our help now.**
