Sex trafficking and child exploitation are modern-day forms of slavery that affect millions of innocent victims around the world each year. Children as young as 5-years-old are bought, sold, or forcibly taken out of their countries and used for their bodies in the underground sex trade market.

Human trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal industry worldwide. We must intervene if we want to see a stop to this abhorrent industry's growth. The Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking Deterrence and Victims Support Act of 2010 (S. 2925) would focus a large effort toward providing comprehensive care to victims of sex trafficking. It would also set aside funding for anti-trafficking agencies and endeavors.
