The Pledge

I understand that lead pipes pose significant health risks, including developmental delays in children, increased blood pressure and kidney dysfunction in adults, and potential risks of cancer. Lead, even at low levels, is a potent neurotoxin that can cause long-term harm.

To support the federal government's efforts in replacing lead pipes and ensuring clean, safe drinking water for all, I pledge to take the following actions:

1. Stay Informed: Regularly update myself on the progress of lead pipe replacement efforts in my community and nationally.
2. Educate Others: Share information about the dangers of lead pipes and the importance of this initiative with friends, family, and neighbors.
3. Advocate for Funding: Support legislation and policies that allocate funds for lead pipe replacement at local, state, and federal levels.
