Tell Congress It's Time to Better Fund Our National Parks!

The president's new budget proposal calls for a substantial increase in funding for our national parks. This would benefit our parks at a time when they face significant challenges.

While our parks are experiencing record-breaking crowds, they also face a nearly $12 billion backlog of repair needs, from aging historic structures to thousands of miles of crumbling roads, bridges, and trails. The National Park Service does not have enough staff to fulfill its mission. And park superintendents are forced to make tough decisions on shoestring budgets.

**Please sign our petition today to ask Congress to stand up for our national parks and support this proposed budget. If they don't make our parks a national priority in this, their centennial year, then when will they?**
