Keep the Monkeys Wild: No Primates for Pets

Sign the petition to keep primates out of homes and in the wild where they belong.
A dangerous trend is taking place in American households— people are adopting primates as domesticated pets. This fad is causing needless suffering for the animals, not to mention putting humans in harm's way. Primates aren't compatible with domestic life— their behavior is often unpredictable and they can carry deadly diseases.
The Captive Primate Safety Act (H.R. 80) would make illegal the purchase of all nonhuman primates for pets. **Sign the petition in support of H.R. 80 so that primates can continue to live in harmony in their own environments.**
