Sea Otters are in big trouble. For years, they have been facing extreme dips in population levels due to pollution and lack of food sources. Some of these problems can be attributed to such human interference as overfishing and polluting. The otters are also at times killed for their fur.

We need to come up with solutions to support the growth of the sea otter population and to address the current issues that are adversely affecting their survival. In light of the recent oil spill, now more than ever is the time to act on behalf of these precious creatures.

**Sign the petition asking Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar to support legislation that will allow sea otters begin to replenish their populations.**
