Stop Sharks from Being Killed in the Bahamas!

We cannot afford to kill off any more of these precious animals. Stop the shark slaughter today.
Shark slaughter in the Bahamas has been on the rise for several years now. It's now reached the point where at least 30% of the shark species in the area are endangered. Bahamian waters are being over-fished and sharks are being captured and killed for their skins, fins, and meat. The shark slaughter is nothing but irresponsible and harmful to the shark population.
Profit gain and bolstering tourism are no valid reasons to continue the bloody shark slaughter. In these times of oil spills and global warming, humans are the ones who should be defending earth's creatures, not murdering them.
There is simply no sound reason at all to hunt sharks to the point of extinction. **Write to the Bahamian government and sign the petition below asking that the shark slaughter comes to a halt once and for all.**
