Help build disaster response capabilities to more rapidly help pets and their families in times of need.

Responding in the first hours and days after a disaster strikes is critical to saving pets' lives and keeping them connected to their families. To be effective, planning and preparation for disaster response must already be in place before the event happens. Organizing supplies and scrambling for delivery vehicles in the confusing aftermath of a storm often compounds -rather than solves - the problem.

Since every response has its own unique features, responders must be prepared with a 'catalog' of supplies, equipment and people for every contingency. Rescue Bank works in advance with partners such as manufacturers, freight companies and other non-profits to make sure that the right resources are in the right place at the right time. Your donation helps operate our national network of warehouses, supports logistics technology, and delivers supplies from both Rescue Bank's and our donors' inventories.

Rescue Bank supports animal rescue and rehabilitation groups by providing services and supplies to improve their standards of care. Recognizing that smaller, less-visible groups represent a substantial portion of a community's animal rescue resources, our goals are to increase their visibility and provide greater access to supplies.
