Free Lambodhar Prasad from Chains

Help support the liberation, rehabilitation, and physical and emotional recovery of Lambodhar Prasad; who now lives shackled in painful leg chains in Nepal.

Day after day, with no shelter from the sun's burning rays, Lambodhar Prasad stands for long hours, legs shackled together in heavy chains that prevent him from moving more than a few inches in any direction. This is a sad reality for Lambodhar Prasad; who, like other elephants in Chitwan National Park in Nepal, is forced to wear chains when not working for his owner. This antiquated and cruel practice that has enslaved elephants for hundreds of years has never been questioned - until now!

Nepal government officials recently invited Elephant Aid International (EAI) to create a pilot project for the country's first-ever chain-free bull elephant enclosure, inside Chitwan National Park. Donations towards this effort will help build an elephant proof enclosure strong enough to keep a full-grown bull elephant in and protect him from attacks from wild bull elephants.
