Help give a girl in a developing country access to a quality education!
Meet Pamela. In 2015, GreaterGood.org's Girls' Scholarship Program sent Pamela to school for a year. For most of her young life, Pamela has taken care of others. As the eldest daughter, it was expected that she would stay home and help with childcare and household chores. Sadly, home was not a happy place. Pamela's father is an alcoholic and he often physically abused Pamela, her mother and her siblings. No one was safe. Luckily, Pamela's mother discovered Horizon Initiative, and Pamela was accepted into the program.
A flagship program of GROW (Girls' Right to Opportunity Worldwide), we work with organizations around the globe to provide a year of education to girls who need it most. Pamela is extremely grateful of the opportunity and is one step closer to achieving her dreams of becoming a nurse. With your ongoing support, we can continue to help young girls like Pamela receive the education they deserve.
Now I live at Baba Nyumbani (Horizon Initiative) where I am safe from abuse, and I go to school each day. In time I want to become a nurse and help the sick in my village." - Pamela
Join us in our mission to send girls to school! With an average annual tuition costing $375 for one girl, you can provide a month of tuition for just $31.25. A quality education helped change Pamela's life. Now you can give other girls the same opportunity!
Consider making a monthly gift. When you give just $31.50 monthly, you ensure that girls like Pamela have a permanent scholarship until they graduate.
