Arizona has the highest euthanasia rate in open intake shelters in the United States. Due to Arizona's temperature climate, puppy and kitten season is over 10 months long each year. All About Animals Rescue noticed a huge amount of pregnant dogs and cats, moms with babies, and orphaned babies that were listed to be killed everyday. The majority of these pets have some type of disease - including kennel cough, upper respiratory infections, mange or ringworm. These diseases are not expensive to treat, but infected animals need time to get well in a healthy environment.

All About Animals Rescue has over 75 foster homes that are trained to know the needs of their foster animal - including nursing moms and growing babies. Each year, 1,500 animals comes through All About Animals Rescue with the majority being Maternity Ward residents. This program makes sure foster homes are trained to not only care for these animals with detailed foster care, but also as adoption counselors. All About Animals Rescue promotes spay/neuter and helps the community find low-cost resources for this. Saving these innocent lives and promoting a solution to the problem is what All About Animals Rescue does everyday and you can help.
