Help Build An Emergency Animal Shelter in Tulsa
SKU: SKU: SK-139770
Help turn a temporary shelter into a permanent one! Support the building the Humane Society of Tulsa Emergency Shelter.
Within only six weeks into the summer, The Humane Society of Tulsa helped law enforcement with four large animal rescues, amounting in over 200 animals. They've re-located and opened a 7,300 square foot Temporary Emergency Shelter for 60 days to occupy all of the animals in need. As August arrives, they still have over 40 of these animals in their care. A majority of animals taken in are special needs and require ongoing medical treatment or behavioral training while waiting to find a forever home.
Sponsoring the building of a new shelter will not only ensure that all of the current dogs living there continue being safe until they can be adopted, but allows for the Humane Society of Tulsa to continue taking on more of these large scale cases of abuse, neglect, hoarding and puppy mills.
For years their emergency response has been limited only by a lack of space to shelter these animals in need. Animals that we would have to turn away, we can now save!
You can help. Just $20 helps build 4 Square Feet of the Shelter!
