FCHSMO is an open-admission shelter for dogs and cats located in rural Missouri and was incorporated in 1981. Fifty percent of our yearly intake consists of orphaned puppies, kittens or pregnant mothers. We need donations to help us care for these babies until they are old enough to be adopted. Our services exceed the space of our small shelter building so we rely upon foster families, volunteers and donations to ensure we can meet the needs of the stray pet population we serve.
