Laramie Peak Humane Society is a small-town shelter, where they try to help surrounding community animals in need of homes for unwanted, stary dogs or cats. They are a no kill shelter and work with surrounding no kill shelters to find the best homes for the animals. If LPHS won the grant money they could use it to help pay for vet bills, maintenance to the building, or buying supplies for the shelter.

Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
