Based in Atlanta, LifeLine Animal Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission of ending the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in county shelters. We are the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia. LifeLine manages two open-admission county shelters for the Atlanta metro-area. Right now, we are experiencing record-high intake volumes, and we are out of space. The need shows no sign of slowing down, and your support is more important than ever, so that we can care for these animals and help them find homes.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
