Saint Frances is a designated no kill shelter in a rural area of SC. We are currently beyond capacity. We provide low cost pet care and donate food and services to those who fall on hard times. Our goal is to promote respect for the lives of cats and dogs by breaking the cycle of abuse neglect and pet overpopulation in the Georgetown-area community. Rescue Reimagined.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
