San Bernardino County Animal Shelters in Devore and Big Bear Lake need your help and support to care for the many stray, homeless and abandoned animals admitted to our animal shelter facilities. The Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF) is the non-profit organization that sponsors pet adoption events to find loving homes for the many homeless pets at our shelters. Please consider making a donation to ARFF so additional pet adoption events can be sponsored and supported throughout the year.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
