The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, open admission shelter that relies on the generosity of our donors and volunteers to care for the homeless animals in our community, and place them in loving “forever homes.” The shelter provides a stepping stone for animals to find loving homes. We offer them housing, food, medical treatment, training, and rehabilitation when necessary.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
