Donations are always welcomed! We always have a need for gently used towels and blankets, newspapers and unopened pet food that we can, in turn, provide to adopters. We also appreciate those that donate money to specific funds we have established that go toward special programs (such as our Healthy Pet Zone) and injured animals. Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
