The Town of Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-A-Pet Center houses dogs, cats, and when needed, exotic animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, birds and reptiles. Right now we have all of these animals being cared for at the shelter. Exotic food is only purchased when needed and can be expensive.
