It is a critical time in animal welfare and our southern shelter is overwhelmed with kittens and dogs/puppies! Our organization would be very grateful for any donations of canned pate cat/kitten food and puppy chow. Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
