Wags 2 Wishes is a licensed , 501(C)3 Not for profit ALL BREED Animal Rescue that started in 2013. Located in Plainfield Illinois our mission is to rescue abused, sick, abandoned and forgotten animals facing euthanasia due to over crowding or being too medically intense for the current facility/owner and provide a loving and secure transition into our rescue program. While our medical and neglect cases enter our foster home program, many of the animals we take in can enter our Rescue Facility and find their loving forever home in just a short time.

Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site are joining NBC and Telemundo stations’ Clear The Shelters pet adoption campaign to support shelters and rescues across the country by encouraging individuals to donate funds to help animal welfare groups with the most critical needs.
Each summer, shelters and rescues face an added stress on their resources from increases in puppy and kitten intakes due to spring litters. In 2022 shelters are reporting higher than normal intake rates, with unprecedented overpopulation in some areas. They need you now.
