Shelter Bowl 2023: Feed Shelter Animals

Montana was found wandering the streets as a stray. He was in pretty bad shape and we could tell he had a severe skin infection that was causing his hair to fall off. You couldn't even tell he was a Golden Retriever.

After a few weeks of healthy meals, medicated baths, and lots of love, Montana is an entirely transformed dog. Today, he looks like a completely different boy and his demeanor is relaxed and happy! He is so sweet, living with his forever family, and almost all of his fur has grown back. He is now a very handsome Golden Retriever who no longer has to sleep on the cold ground at night or worry where his next meal will come from.

Montana is not the only dog who's known hunger. Food is not only one of the most vital needs for animal shelters and rescues, but also their largest expense. Unfortunately, more money spent on food means less funding for other life-saving programs for the animals in their care. With the current economic downturn, shelters and rescues across the country face uncertainty.
